Hum Noise when driving in 2wd
Hey all,
New to the forum, got a 2012 f150 FX4, recently was in some real deep snow, took the truck out of 4wd when merging onto the highway. Turns out it didnt fully disengage which ive been told by the ford dealer can happen when in deep snow, one of the vacuum line freezes and it does not fully disengage. Anyway ended up burning the front diff oil, once i got home i swapped it out and also noticed front c/v boot had popped off on drivers side. Got that assy changed, both diffs now have fresh fluid. New front breaks complete pads and rotors. Now theres a humming noise in 2wd almost sounds like tire hum that was not there before. Sounds like front not 100% sure of the location of the noise.
Any thoughts?
