2012 Supercab XLT 3.7 with 3.73's and a 98 litre tank.
I've only got 3,000kms, and my driving is about 70% highway (at about 110kmh or so) and 30% city. l get about 800kms on a tank. If lt was all highway driving it would be over 900kms. I`ve heard it`ll still improve a bit as well.

How did you get a 98 litre tank? Mine is 136 with no option to get 98. Are you sure it's not 136? If you can get 800 kms on 98 litres then I should be getting 1300 kms to a tank...

Yep, l've got the 98 litre tank. Its even on the window sticker. I work out my mileage every tank, and when l'm driving the 70%highway/30%city, l'm getting about 11.7L per 100kms. Which works out to justover 800kms for the tank.

Is it a regular cab then? Because I know on supercabs and supercrews the 136 is your only option. Unless if they changed it for 2012

2012 Supercab 6 1/2 foot bed.
I don't hammer on it though, but l keep up with traffic.
If l do 80-85% city driving with the rest on the freeway, my mileage has been around 14L per 100km. Which is about 700KMS on a tank.
When l was looking at trucks in the dealers lots, l saw some that had the 136 litre tank, and others with the 98 litre tank. I guess they must have changed it for 2012.

That makes sense. That's also some really good mileage. Is it 4x4 and what gearing do you have? Any mods?

4 x 2. The last pickup l had l ever needed 4 wheel drive once. l never go off road with it so l figured why add the expense to the purchase price of the truck. The gearing is 3.73's, which l guess are standard with the towing package.
No modifications yet. l just got the truck at the end of September, and l havent had the time or the money yet.

Ah cool. I drove a 4x2 ranger for a while. It did fine, even in snow. But now I need the 4x4 for work. How are you liking the 3.7? I'm impressed with its power for a V6. I've hauled 1700 lbs without issues.
