My first trip in my 2010 5.4 (new to me) made trip from Drumheller to Kamloops on one tank (136L), 750 km trip and gauge said I still had 120 km left in tank. Driving through mountains, snow, 4x4H at times and low pressure in tires. Not too bad. A lot less milage then my previous minivan but I guess it the price you pay not having to drive a minivan anymore

First tank I was at 830km with 122 L used (had another 100 km of gas in the truck),

Second tank - I am on par for a 950-1000 km run.

Currently it says 18L/100km.....19L/100km in the spring.

Thats 15MPG. AWSOME. Not even 800km on a 136L tank.

2012 XTR Screw, 5.0 3.55, Added: K&N 63 series, 20" BFG Rugged Terrain T/A's 34.1" tires

I haven't done any hwy driving in a while just a round where I live from 30 mph - 50 mph......and my last average for city driving as of yesterday was 756 liters for 136 L tank.......which really sucks......as it seems to be getting worse then better.....I have 5,200km....still like new, I guess that's part of the problem too, and it warmed up a lot too, in the winter months I was getting over 800 L to a tank

for my week of driving its usually around 35L of gas per week...when I was at 2000 to 3000KM I was getting my best mpg's

I guess its time to pump my tires back to 40psi (BFG recommends this for the size) 275/65/20 for summer driving...

That's actually not bad. 100% city driving I get around 800 kms and my truck is stock and a V6. Hwy driving is where it does really well. I can easily get over 1000 kms. I have a 1/4 tank left and I'm already at 900 kms.

on the Hwy driving keeping at posted speeds....I was bouncing from 9.5 to 11.5 per 100km......so I was Impressed on the hwy.......nothing over 65mph.......

but if I kept up with traffic iwas at 17-19.5.......passing and not paying attention......but I haven't done enough hwy driving to give any real concrete numbers....

I drove from Hinton to Langley yesterday and filled up 120L. On board computer told me 936km till E after filling. I averaged 9L/100km and that was doing 120-125 km/h the whole way back on cruise control. I'm pretty impressed with this 5.4L.

I'm getting over 1K on the highway running about 118 kph. That's with the 2011 5.0 FX4.
