Update... With over 50000 km, my lifetime avg is 14L/100km. This is 70% city driving. Minimal max payload ( hauled paver stones twice fire wood twice and soil for the garden twice) no towing yet. One long trip (1000km). Over all I'm very happy. 2012 ecoboost SCREW Lariat 4X4 ( so a little heavier then other F150) max trailer tow pkg 136l tank 3.73 electric lock diff (so a little less fuel economy).
Curious are other similar vech's avg. same??

I average under 14L sometimes under 13L when it's not winter with about 90% city driving . But I use med grade gas . Winter is about 16.5 L

Same here currently cold here in NB. Avg. 16.9L/100km on this tank. Using reg gas with 10% ethanol.

by my calculations your computer should have been reading around 12.4L/100Km. I find reading what the comp states is never accurate. Anyhow that's great fuel Eco.

Hi guys! Just bought a 2014 crew 4x4! Finally!

Long story short , I have the 136l tank in this thing and got 520 kms off the first tank. Thought that was odd. When I filled up though, it took 110 liters of fuel. Shouldn't I be seeing close to 800k per tank? At least that's what I've been reading. Not the computer , but actual mileage .

you'll see 800 or more on 100% highway in the right conditions (110 max, no wind...)
100% Winter driving, idling / short trips in downtown Calgary, yeah 500 kms per tank sounds about right

I too noticed that it only took 110 L to fill up after the dummy light came on, that's a hell of a reserve! 25L ~ 150kms or more!

That's fine. Kinda sucks but that's fine, just wanted to make sure nothing was f'd with the truck.
Wish I knew that before I bought it. Wife's 2013 fx4 EB Crew gets an extra 150k per tank.

My truck only has 700k on it. Hoping it breaks in.....

right now that's 13.3 mpg

^ so I'm assuming you have a 5.0 ?
Either way, the mileage will be more or less the same. Your truck is barely broken in yet, give it some time!

congrats on the truck. I'd advise that you download an App and track your mileage. With my 2012 I find that neither the DTE or avg MPG is accurate. Don't rely on them. I only fill up I try to use the same station. That is the best way to track how your vech is performing. Best of luck. Keep me informed.
