That = 23.5 L / 100 kms or ~10 MPG (US). Is that pulling a massive trailer or hammering it through mountains? Is that normal 5.4 fuel usage?

With the 5.0, I go from ~12.5 L / 100 (19 MPG) for my typical driving (mostly 95 KPH / 55 MPH 2 lane highway), to ~17 L / 100 (14 MPG) on the same drive pulling a 12' cargo trailer.

No trailer pulling or mountain driving. Just %99 city driving . And I mostly baby it when I drive. I keep up with oil changes, fuel filter, clean air filter (KN&N), tire pressure at 38psi. The truck runs good.

Chevykiller666 - 99% city would hurt mileage a lot. And if it runs well, nothing more to do.

Currently I am maybe 95% rural highway.

I average 700km/ tank city/ hwy driving. Max speed 105 km/h. And open highway 900 km/ tank with cruise set at 100 km/h.
I'm running a 4.6L with 3.73 open diff and 136L tank.

last tank I did 26L/100km, @ 12PSI, cutouts open and a lot of aggressive driving, never had such a bad fuel economy before, but worth every penny
