I bought my truck at Hanna last year, and they were great to deal with. A family operation, no pressure, no hassle. I recommend them to anyone I talk to, and will go back when my wife needs a new vehicle. I drove past two other Ford dealers because their website was the best, as were their prices.
I was surprised when they gave me a price for the extended warranty, as it was a lot higher than Barrie Ford.

Thank you for sharing such a great experience, 2014FX4! I'm the same Brittany over at the FordService account, I'm just covering for Nikki and Kwasi while they're out of the office today.

I'd love to get this documented in our system, as your voice is important and it sounds like some dealer recognition is well-deserved here! Please send a private message to the FordServiceCA account with your full name, best daytime contact number, as well as any other details you'd like included.

Hope to hear from you soon!

Brittany

Their paper work shows prices that at MSRP, so they are free to quote/charge what they want. It pays to look around. I would definitely call Barrie Ford, ask for Shelley, the business manager.
Shelly gave me a quote today. 8 yr/200Km $5495, 7 yr/200KM $5110. You're lucky you got that price. Did you purchase your vehicle from them?

I didn't buy my truck there, I bought it at Hanna in Collingwood. I don't know how she came up with your price, but that is by far the highest I have heard. Hanna and Blackstock were both around $4000.

As these ESPs start from 0Km, you got a 2 yr warranty for $3200 - assuming your factory warranty runs out in 2016.

Not to mention you would have to have $3200 worth of broken stuff to even START to get a return on your money, $6400 in broken stuff to get your money back on your investment.

ESP's are a cash cow, pure profit for doing nothing.

Personally, I'll never buy one again, got one in 2000 when I bought out a lease on a '98 XL 4x4 with 70000 km, drove it for four years, and another 100000km with no issues, traded in at 170000km, so the cash I spent on an ESP was 100% pure profit for the company underwriting the policy.

Never again. More power to you if you want the peace of mind, it's not my money.
