Yah I haven't had a chance to really have a look under at the clamps and welds yet. I'm out of town working right now so I won't be able to get too a muffler shop for another week. I'm really hoping its just a simple thing like a leak.
I do know that I took the stock resenator out and I believe it's a 3" stock exhaust and I think the shop went to a 2.5" pipe from the first flang into the muffler. That may be choking the exhaust off a bit. Could be the muffler too but I hope not as this magma flow system sounds amazing under throttle with this 5.0.
The solo kit has what in it? I'm still new to this stuff. The solo or borla is the kit I'd go too if this magma flow can't be fixed.
As for the intake ill do that reinstall it and see. I do know it didn't seem to fix perfect when input it on. The piping didn't really sit right in the rubber fittings. The air box didn't seem to fit well either. Not sure what you mean by the things inside the intake piping. Will I see them easy if I take this kit off?
Thanks
Brandon

That sounds odd that they'd choke the exhaust like that going to 2.5" then back to 3". As for the J-Pipe it acts kinda like a trombone. I'll add a pic of the MR400. Ill also add a pic of the fin things I'm talking about in your intake tubes. The are on the stock part of the intake and you'll be able to see them with the intake completely out.
If you decide to get a new exhaust, which I would recommend after you explain how the hell they go to 2.5" and then back to 3". I'd highly recommend the SOLO. The pic I added is the one that's on my truck and is freaking awesome!!
Oh crap, just realized you have the 5.0...not too sure if it will have the fin things...the MR400 still works great for the 5.0 tho. Check out the vids on their website.

Yah I didn't see those fins at all when I took my stock intake tubing off the truck. I'm going to have a look again when I get home but in the meantime I'm going to bring my truck into the shop one night as I'm working nights and reinstall the intake. See if I did something wrong or what.
The exhaust thing yah it's just annoying me that I paid $1000 bucks for the magna flow kit and install and I'm having this issue. What makes it worse is it made me have to take my spare tire out for the kit too fit.
Was ur solo kit easy to install? You do it urself or what a shop do it? Also what did it cost you if u don't mind? I'm wondering if its going to cost me more then the $1000 I paid for this magna flow. I'm sure I could sell this kit if I had too. Only has like 2000 km on it.

2012 3500 crew cab Laramie . Super stoked. Here's a pic. Put the deposit down on it and bought the weather techs front and back. Getting the 24" 3M nose hood/fender/headlights/foglights wrapped Thursday morning with a window tint.

Anybody interested in buying a new in boxes set of weathertech mudflaps? They are for 09-current with fender flares. I bought bushwackers so they won't fit...now to search for a set of heavy duty ones I can attach to the bushwackers...pm if interested
