Well this sucks. I was coming home from a fire dispatch and got stuck at the end of the driveway. Put it in 4-low with the rear diff locked and couldn't even budge. The wind has actually packed the snow drifts hard enough it supported my weight when I got out to inspect the situation. Walked a kilometer home, got the quad and a shovel, went back and tried for a while but no luck. Going to grab a quick snooze and head back out in a couple hours to try and figure something out to get unstuck. By then my truck will probably be buried in snow.
yet, i am trying to get my class 1. i am half way done it but got told yesterday that march 31 is my lay off date.
so i am going to need a job; but i am going to go finish school... no matter what.

Had to use a tractor to get pulled out of the snow. Had some business at the fire station this afternoon, then this evening I slapped the blade on the quad and got to work. It was tough going but a quad with a blade does great work and I got enough cleared to get through with my truck. Hopefully the grader comes soon and opens the road up properly.
