Is it oem? I've heard mixed things about aftermarket ones...lots of rattling issues...

Hey norddu60
I just got my truck bed coated from linex and tool box and they said they could order in fender flares for me I know any other after marketplace can bring them in
I am looking at getting the front and rear bumper and side bars done by Linex but then my truck will be completely back black except the door handles and rims
They quoted me 1200 for the rockers full length of the truck but if I did the bumpers sidebar included all at once they would cut me a deal they have been very good and even picked up my truck from my house
I looked at doing the fender flares as well but then I have to look at offsetting with new rims and I am not there yet but they can do the linex around the wheel wells and it looks sharp if you want to go that route
I did some research and linex did seem to come up with the best product
The 1 in Edmonton 50th Street and about 72 Avenue were great and very accommodating and no I don't work for them check remote if you're in town talk to Dave or shawn just tell him Chad with the aluminum toolbox in and they will know exactly who I am
Have a good one
Bigwhite
PS any spelling make mistakes chalk them up to autospeak on my cellphone

Thnx for the info bigwhite. Unfortunately mines a white pearl platinum so I have to pay extra for color match. I guess the good thing is that's its the line-x xtra...guaranteed against fading, etc. I may call line-x in Edmonton for a quote. Gp and red deer have both quoted me $1200. Maybe if I get my box done too, they'll give me a bit of a deal...

Was going to re-torque yesterday and saw a couple cracked lug nuts. Took it to the dealership and they found 11 in total. Covered by warranty, had them all replaced on the spot.

Supposedly the lug nuts on the 18'' wheels get water inside, and then it expands and cracks when pressure is applied. I don't care, as long as warranty covers it!

But sometimes I feel like Ford cheaps out on certain parts. This is a perfect example of it.
