I'll keep my eyes (and ears!) open for you in Red Deer. If I see you, I'm going to try and race you, just so I can hear that blower whine! I love the sound of those lightnings.

Hey guys, if any of you want to join a fun thread, go to the "what I've learnt in 3 years..." I'm taking some heat as a Canadian in there.... I can use some backup... All in good fun...

It's one of those super useless, but fun threads...

Always tough being north of the border, but no one in Canada would touch the price.
Thank you! I just stumbled on that recommendation with a $60 order for that damn bumper pad about to be shipped from Amazon. For only $20 Rock Auto is sending it express.

Yes sir. I actually introduced myself in that thread an hour ago. I even included a video of my knock. I first noticed it this evening.

It only happens while idling (for now). I will try to get in into the stealership on my first day off, next Friday, for them to look it over. I still have powertrain warranty for another 3k so I'm praying whatever it is will be covered under it.

Good luck with that. There are 26 pages here of guys getting NOWHERE with the dealerships and I am one of them. I think there are 5 more on here since I came in. I am starting to think it is a big cover up by Ford. Two have confirmed it was their blocks but they were the lucky ones. Most of us are getting told it is "normal" and "it has to get much worse first". I have a year left on warranty as I bought an extended. I just want to know what it is if it's normal. Can't sell my truck with it like this so the fight continues. Keep us all posted please. Strength in Numbers ...

What is a Factory Lightning? I looked at getting the Roush Super Charger as my Ford dealer is now a Roush supplier and will warranty the drive train. What is this one? How much$? Do they warranty the drivetrain?
My quote was around $12000.00 CAD installed. I worry that I will be blowing up transmissions and rear ends?? How does it go? I like it
