A relay and three fuses, all for the electric fans.

Really weird.

Well decided im not a fan of plastidip, looks like crap up close and can per can costs as much as colormatched paint.

Got this done outer is still wrapped, center bars are plastidip black and the grill is primed and cleared for right now. Ill do my best to strip it and hit it with code matched paint hopefully before snow falls.

Yeah I see that too on plasti-dipped stuff. It gives a really pebbly orange peel appearance when you get up close. 10 feet or 10 mph it looks okay lol. I did my tails and third brake light on my old GMC with the tinting stuff.... it looks okay..... but if the surface came out smoother it would be much better.

But I also agree that the entire thing would look better black.... but then you just have my FX4 grill lol.

Or just not ever use it. Works great in the can.

Looking to get the remote access installed in my '13 FX4 (came with factory remote start).

Just wondering who else here has gone from the factory remote start to the remote access setup?
Did you guys buy your parts locally? Install yourself? Have dealer install?

I know there are a few other threads on the remote access install, so I've got to track those down for the details of what I need.
I just can't stand the 20ft range on this factory remote start!
First winter in AB, and it's only September and I'm already cold as #%&!.

I used Zach from Allstar Automotive. He was great to deal with, plus he can activate it over the phone. Zachary's number 1 (225) 490-5164 LA, USA.
I installed it. It only takes 15-20 minutes.
