I'm not sure. They always got them done at the stealership. And it made many trips there to have injectors replaced.

I couldn't tell you what it would take to do it.. I just know that my brother has a 6.0L, and the head gasket blew at 135000 KM. He got the work done at a local shop, and a banks intercooler at the same time. And it was $$$$$

Hmm ok. Thanks for all the advise guys. I am having mechanic do a once over and I'll ask him to check those areas specifically well.

Hey guys! Found the Alberta thread! I'm out near the Hat. Have a 2010 F150 and decided to finally throw some new tires on it. Has been a good truck for us, only thing I wish was I waited a year for the ecoboost to come out (got the old 5.4). Still love the truck though so decided to give it some TLC.

With that mileage unless you feel like spending a bunch of money on a truck that is already worth nothing.... let it slide. $3k is a kijiji price for that thing.
