Looks good! What brand bars are those to be able to have white and amber on the same bar?

They're Aurora. At the time I got them they were prototypes, so I'm not sure if they've actually made it into production or not yet.

Pulled off the step bars as I hate those things lol. Next is 3M, tint, some form of rock guarding the bottom of the truck ( bedliner or otherwise), mudflaps, exhaust and a tune. Then make it my work truck as intended..... I guess.

I like how this truck moves.... it actually almost impresses me lol. It pulls trailer like a champ. With 38 km on the odo I hooked around 9000 lbs behind it and it pulled it better than most anything I have pulled with before as a gas job anyways.

Still trying to find a competent dealer with regards to the Remote Link Starting setup...... oh well lol.

Need to get my hands on SCT and start tuning.... I'm used to forums with guys that self tune, but I guess Ford it's not so much.... I use EFILive now so I doubt SCT will be that hard to grasp. Be nice if HP supported these trucks but as of yet they still don't.

Oh I guess I tore off my license plate bracket too.... plan on mounting an LED bar in the hole. Everyone will think it's an EcoScrew like everyone elses truck now lol.
Welcome aboard, and nice truck! I've been past Ardmore lots on my way to Cold Lake from Bonnyville so at least I can find it, LOL.

What light bar are you going with?

The lights bars look good Craig. You need to get us some night time shots of the light bars and the LED fogs.

Thanks! I'll do my best to try to get some tonight. I haven't heard if I'm going out for work or not yet, so it's still up in the air if I'll be able to.

Figured a select few would know :-). Its almost as bad as where I am actually from.... or grew up at least, being Pickardville Alberta.

Not sure on the bar. I have a Chinese one I bought from a guy in Texas on my 05 GMC and its been excellent to be truthful. Its good at spread which is nice as my headlights do the focus work. Seems this truck should have good headlights but I haven't driven at night with it yet.... they are HID's after all.

I forgot to say I think I am peeling the hockey stripe down the sides off as well. I like it on red and on the bright blue but I dunno on white... I think naked so to speak would look better. I just liked the suede seats and black rims thus I got the appearance package.

I'll admit......I had to Wikipedia Pickardville haha.

I'll admit......I am a Rigid loyalist but a lot of new LED companies are popping up and producing really great products. I am tempted to take a chance on a Chinese 20'' double row light bar.

I'll also admit......the Appearance Package decal (both versions) has really grown on me and would be partial to leaving it on if I owned an App. Package truck.

Yeah I am way to cheap for Rigid lol. Especially when one that cost a third of the rigid of the same size works just as well.. about a year and a half on the truck now of work miles. We'll see I suppose though what I decide to try.

There are so many of these appearance trucks around I think its different to not have the decals lol. I like the decal on the hood, it can stay... but the sides have to go. I'm torn on making this my work rig but I think I have too... I didn't buy it to look at it. We'll see how it fairs... its my first Ford. Loved the look and interior but prior to 2011 I would have never bought one. No concern now however. I have had everything else short of Toyota trucks so it was time. Decided to buy something different... and the 6.2 is toast in the new body style so why not.

It's good that you posted about the Chinese light bar because I have been wondering myself how long they last in this part of the world. If you have had yours for a year and a half and no issues that is more reason for me to look into alternatives to Rigid.

I agree with leaving the hood decal. It is the sharpest of the App. Pack. decals and if I had to keep just one that would be it.
