I altered my Rigid setup last night. I took the two Dually Floods off (they were mounted in the two top corners of the grille) and put the two Dually Spots in their place. Here are some pics:

Now by doing this I freed up the tabs on either side of the license plate bracket. Should I get another pair of Spots to mount there, or a set of Amber Spots? Hmmm.

How was the install? Do they work off the fog light switch?

Super easy install. As long as one is ok with hacking apart their fog light mounting assembly. Cut a hole for the tab to slide though (in hindsight, I would have cut the tab off the light itself), drill 4 holes on the back, to attach the light, voila. Done. Ya they're running off the fog light switch.

And bad news. Didn't make it back into town in time to pick up the right connectors for my weather packs, I grabbed the wrong ones earlier today :| So no output shots until I'm not sure when… I go back on shift tomorrow so I'm not sure where I might be heading, and if I'll be able to get them hooked up before I go.

Nice. I've seen guys putting Rigid Dually's/D2's in the fog light housing. I'd like to put a set of Amber D2's there and just wire them to the fog light wires.

Where could a person purchase these particular LEDs?

I'm from Ardmore ( if you can find that lol) and bought the truck in Edson..... Don't care about the service warranty crap as it likely will not go to a Ford dealer again in its life ( except for the remote start lol). If they would put a dollar value on the factory warranty and then subtract that from the price in turn for voiding it I would take it. Details in my sig. Pulled off the step bars as I hate those things lol. Next is 3M, tint, some form of rock guarding the bottom of the truck ( bedliner or otherwise), mudflaps, exhaust and a tune. Then make it my work truck as intended..... I guess.

I like how this truck moves.... it actually almost impresses me lol. It pulls trailer like a champ. With 38 km on the odo I hooked around 9000 lbs behind it and it pulled it better than most anything I have pulled with before as a gas job anyways.

Still trying to find a competent dealer with regards to the Remote Link Starting setup...... oh well lol.

Need to get my hands on SCT and start tuning.... I'm used to forums with guys that self tune, but I guess Ford it's not so much.... I use EFILive now so I doubt SCT will be that hard to grasp. Be nice if HP supported these trucks but as of yet they still don't.

Oh I guess I tore off my license plate bracket too.... plan on mounting an LED bar in the hole. Everyone will think it's an EcoScrew like everyone elses truck now lol.
