If a 2011-ish FX4 was around $35k for the truck linked above (as long as it wasn't a private sale), it'd make sense. But all the used 2011 and 2012 trucks are up in the $39k-$42k range, and it doesn't make any sense at all. New FX4's like the ones I advertise for my boss just have such amazing incentives. Used doesn't work unless it's a couple years old. These independent used car dealers determine the used price based on the list price of the vehicle, not the current incentives of a new one.

You created those ads, didn't you?
At least you held back on the "Pirsmelli".

sorry to have to correct you.
bc tax is 14%, i'd know. I bought my truck in bc, then had to have it CVIP'ed in alberta.
but yea, I think I paid an additional 1700 (for pst) on my truck.
people think they sure stuck it to me, but the way I see it, I've had less issues than many of the other guys out there. hell, I've had no issues. other than my tie rods going on me when I went to Calgary.
I booked my truck for tues/wed next week. she's turning the big 100,000km on the odo, and I've finally got a few things that actually need to be done.
oil change
air flter
spark plugs (she's running like a champ as is now, but still gonna do the tune up)
tranny filter and oil flush.
alignment (hit a massive bump yesterday, so 100 bucks is worth the check up)
they were trying to get me to change my t-case and rear diff too. I declined because I got those done at 65000km.
next pay check, I think i'll get the rad, power steering, and brake fluid done. not sure yet.
after that, may want to consider new tires for winter. not sure bout that either.
but, considering the 100k, i'd say that my truck's done pretty damn good for itself.
