then knock off a few bucks, what ever seems fair to you. pretty sure you guys could come to some sort of an agreement

This is hilarious!! These guys are insane.

With BC tax it'd be $46,800. A new 2013 FX4 hard loaded like this one from an Alberta dealer is about $46,600 OTD. I present to you, the sacred FX4!

My truck in late 2011 was $44,400 OTD.

Someone's out to lunch. Not to mention the lack of effort in the pictures- you can see dust completely coated on the Nav screen!

That truck is worth about 37k provided the condition is good and it hasn't been in any accidents. It's about as hard loaded as an FX4 could come in 2011, but it's $5k too high. Not to mention BC's sales tax @ 12%.

Ford sells their new trucks with deep discounts. I don't know how they move used vehicles. They gave me more than I paid for mine on a trade in, and they are selling it for.less. You'd be crazy not buying new.

If a 2011-ish FX4 was around $35k for the truck linked above (as long as it wasn't a private sale), it'd make sense. But all the used 2011 and 2012 trucks are up in the $39k-$42k range, and it doesn't make any sense at all. New FX4's like the ones I advertise for my boss just have such amazing incentives. Used doesn't work unless it's a couple years old. These independent used car dealers determine the used price based on the list price of the vehicle, not the current incentives of a new one.

I agree completely, new is where its at.
Perhaps some buyers don't get their ~25% off sticker and that is where the dealer rakes in the cash? Well, that and the service department.
