Cool. Yeah I figured they were for securing pipes and tools. The sprinkler fitters on the jobsite last year had those on their Superduty, only placed flat along the roof and bed instead of angled, like a specialized pipe rack.

If he puts a big company logo on the side and go to the drag strip every week then it should be ok... Or you can volunteer to do that for him ;-)
I'll let you know what my accountant says when I write off my fox shox at the end of the year lol. I do drive a fair amount of dirt road for work tho.

He got a set of replacement Bridgestone 22" tires through the company as his Pirelli's were pissing him off. 21,000km and a little over half done. Pathetic. I guess it's just an expense like oil changes and such that he can write off as a maintenance expense. But a supercharger isn't quite a maintenance expense. I don't think you could even make it "seem" legit.

He had a metallic silver company logo on the rear side windows on his Cadillac. It was really pretty, Don't know why he doesn't run a logo on his truck now. I'd gladly drag it for him, get some of that good old fashioned sponsorship advertising. It's funny, we do have some big logo magnets somewhere..

there's no way you can make it seem legit, I've tried.

and that "C" channel welding over a few bolts on the bumper?

like i said, i'm going to weld to my tow hooks. they're chrome and if i ever need to pull off the winch, i'll rattle can em black.

i like mods that i can take with me that don't change the truck.

for instance, other than the fairleads, canopy, tires, and the floor mats inside the truck, you wouldn't know I've got a lot more into it.

I've got a GPS locator installed for one. go on theif... the only phone call to the cops, is where they can find the body, no insurance claim, but there would be a rather unusual amount of parts ordered out of ford, and i'd do the wrenching myself... just enough to get it back to a shop and let them finish it all.

Well I am off this weekend and it's supposed to be nice out. I still have over 3/4 of a tank of Shell Gold. I am thinking it's a good time for a road trip. grab me a coffee and hit the road!

Sounds cool. I just don't want to stay at home if the weather is nice. And you can try out the new truck and see what you think!
