Then a light misting of clear, although after spraying endura tier 1 clear isn't really required.

Should look good when completed.

Then get my painted tow mirror caps on, Harley tails, black oem hid's...led light kit...removing the grey 4x4 decals and replacing them with the same decals only in matte black...

Oh wait and PTM door handles...

Stinking snowball effect...

Plus I have to fit in an oil change, transfer case fluid change, throttle body cleaning and slap my bakflip hd on....

I think that's it...luckily the ball and chain and kids are going to her folks place at pine lake for over 2 weeks so ill have spare time...

sounds like you're a auto body paint man. lol

over the winter i spent $3000 getting my class 1. i gotta replenish that cash in the account before i can(or should have bought) gotten any truck toys this year.

so far tho, I've gotten a winch mount and a daystar winch isolator. the shipper screwed up on the ordering, so I've got a bill for $80 and an extra isolator that i don't need. so my plans are to kijiji the second isolator for every penny that i'm billed for.

who knows, may be a good idea to take to one of the alberta meet n greets. someone may want it. it's pretty sexy tho, black to match the trim of the truck.

but if i am allowed to get another toy, it's gonna be a front hitch receiver.

cause when i decide to pull the trigger on the warn, that's gonna be one heck of a bill.

Not a paint guy just fearless...kinda. The reason im using endura is because its the best paint out there and very forgiving to imperfections. It has an almost self levelling quality. Downside is that it takes about 7 days to cure properly. So Once she's done I'll set some heaters up in my buddies shop to help it along. I'm tempted to spray the whole truck in raptor.

A winch would be cool, but not sure what I'd use it for

I don't plan on using it on a day to day basis.

if anything, I just want to use it to drag a tree if i'm getting firewood or to haul a car or truck onto a trailer.

but I understand... a $2k setup is a bit of coin to start a project, but it's needed in order to get my car restored. so, one step at a time.

it's not baby steps....

it's the cost of living, and sustaining gf's needs and wants... truck toys may be high up on my list and low on hers, but I can understand that. she understands that I've gotta take care of my truck toy needs lol

Project raptor liner commenced. Prepped and sealed with epoxy. Tinted raptor liner applied. Tonight the Endura pearl matched paint will go on.

Pictures don't do it justice. In person it looks identical to line-x.

More to follow next week when I start the rockers.

Yeah white platinum paint that has a base coat that looks cream coloured in the can but as it dried starting looking more white. Then it has a top coat of white pearl.

For some reason in the pics it doesn't show how uniform the texture is. I was hesitant prior to spraying but it turned out great.
