Gravel is not much of a concern for me... More worried about snow and ice driving between Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver and SK...
the more I search, the more "new" tires I find... argh !! luckily, even though it's almost snowing here tonight, I still have a few months to decide!

For driving on-road, nothing beats true winter tires. IMO and experience, the Blizzak DM-V1 is the way to go. Unless you want to go studded.

This morning I rode in a truck wearing Duratracs. Absolutely horrible road noise. My blizzaks are 20x quieter.

Hey fellow owners!

Has anyone done the resonator delete on stock exhaust? If so, where did you get your resonator delete pipe? Ford? on-line? other?

Thanks!

I have bought Blizzaks since they first came out and swear by them. These guys that put on the big snow grippers must not drive on icy highways. It is the black ice and freezing rain that I want true snow and ice tires Just make sure they come off ASAP in the spring or you will ruin them on the hot asphalt!

Howdy All, just joined. I got a new 2015 F150 Lariat Crew Cab 4x4 3.5 Ecoboost coming. My last truck was a Dodge. I ran MIchelin X-ice on steel rims on the Dodge and was quite happy with them. I have also had the Blizzak DM-V1 on other vehicles. BOth are great slight edge to the Blizzak on the ice but the tread life on the MIchelin has been much better.

Default 2011 FX4 SCAB 3.5L EB review.

So I have been the only driver of my beloved truck since new. I must say it has been the best F150 I have yet to date. This is a service truck, a daily driver, and back and forth to Church on Sundays.... Church being a few remote creeks chasing rainbow trout. The only warranty issue I ever had was the low note horn went dead. When you blasted the horn it just kind of made a little meep sound. That said the first time I ever drove it reminded me of my 96 F250 Power Stroke, just sink the back of your pants right into the seat kind of power. I have pulled trailers for work projects and my own holiday trailer all over 7000 lbs all while being very well mannered and quiet, I'm getting old now and that is a bonus. It has 159,000 km on it now I have replaced the shocks all around, spark plugs once and timing chain at 156,000km, Brakes are still at 45% so all good there. With topper, parts and assorted goodies I carry about 1100 lbs around all day every day, have never reset the mileage average and its at 14.4 L/100. Its never left Me stranded, always started when cold and not plugged in, and goes like a bat out of hell. I love this truck!!!!!! Its too bad that its time to trade it in on a new 2015 F150 but that's company rules. One just has to conform to policies.
