Zone 6" lift plus 2"?

I would be concerned with 'stacking' lift kits like that. Not sure exactly what's involved with your 6" lift, but that lift was designed to have certain characteristics and angles, adding more on top of it may cause more problems.

Seems like it should work.
My front Bilstein shocks are cranked up in the front and I have 2" lift shackles in the rear.
No drive line issues.
Why not do the front strut spacers and 2" lift shackles in rear?

I'd be weary of the front end suspension components wearing out. I thought of doing the same thing with my BDS 6" lift, I wanted to level the look by just adding Bilstein's up front, because I run the stock struts with strut spacers. So I was just gunna swap out the stock struts with the Bilsteins. Then that got me thinking about all the stress that was gunna be put on my UCA's, and the cost for a good set of uni ball UCA's just made the whole idea unjustifiable to me, just to level the look. I think I'll keep the rake.

Still not seeing the argument against putting strut spacers with 6" lift.
The 8" rize lift puts the front suspension at some pretty drastic angles.
I've got almost 30k miles with my 6" lift and my Bilstein shocks extended.
No wear issues apparent at inspections.

The issue with strut spacers + a 6" lift is that most lifts come with a 6" strut spacer. In that case you'd be adding another 2" spacer on top.
