XCal 3 from VMP vs Gryphon
Whats better? I have researched both and they are both 399$. I'm kinda liking the Gryphon because of the gauge display but what is the difference in performance? I've heard nothing but great things about Bill and his wife at Power Hungry Performance and think I'm gonna go that direction. Any opposers?
And another question for the people with the Gryphon is it 399$ plus 30$ for each additional AFTER 3 initial custom tunes or is it 399$ for just the unit with canned tunes plus 30$ each?

I just ordered myself a gryphon last week. 
It's $399 for the unit and three canned tunes and +$30 for each custom tune but if you ordered by midnight tonight there was a $40 off sale. I went with it for the guages and to better monitor my mpg's. I can't say anything performance wise, each truck is different and no matter which way people go they're usually very happy with custom tunes because it's better than stock.

Yahhhh...I'm kinda thinkin the same thing...the xcal3 is 400 and includes 3 customs. I just can't decide if the gauges and simple interface is worth the 90 extra ill have to spend to get 3 custom tunes...but maybe I only need 1 custom tune and use the 2 canned?
