Default Wrench light! Limp Mode!

I have a 2004 f150 fx4 5.4l with 250000 miles. driving home yesterday my truck made a strange shutter then the wrench light came on. ac compressor instantly stopped and hot air started blowing out my vents. pulled over and small amount of white smoke seemed to be hovering above where the throttle body is but cleared away. I cleaned my throttle body couple weeks ago and ran fine til now. from research ive seen that maybe its my Throttle Position Sensor. engine idles rough almost cutting off limp mode is kicking in not giving me much throttle at all. throwing all kinds of codes that didn't exist before. any suggestions would be great .. not wanting to throw parts at it but I did order a TPS and some MAF cleaner going to get on those in the morning but if those don't work I don't know what else to do. thanks for any ideas!

I assume some of these codes were from before you changed parts.
Clear codes, run it a bit, and check codes again.

What was the problem that led you to do all that work in the first place? I mean, I assume there were some symptoms that told you to change the VCTs, etc.?
