Agreed, a clutch fan is loud for a few moments. The electric fans were loud every time the AC cycled.
Yeah, but the twin turbos fan will keep you nice and cold on the AC.

Plus, there is extra load on the alternator, that ain't free ya know.
Agree, nothing is free. But would you rather spent the energy when needed or spend the energy all the time like clutched fan? It's not free you know?

Hmm,, "clutched",, get it? Minimal energy when not needed. Electric, (30 amps!) probably some charging happening when the fans shut off. No major advantage.

Oh really! The F150 is not my first time ditching the clutch fan, matter of fact it's the third, and let me tell you on a hot day with A/C on not only it couldn't cool for squat the clutched fan kicked in and the engine feels like a dog.

Besides it's robbing power, it's also a ticking bomb, if one of the blade is cracked or broke it will blow up and cause all kind of havoc and not to mention water pump short live due to fan clutch piggy back all day long.

I understand all E-fans are not equal, do your research, pick the right fan and controller. Been doing this for over ten years now and not a hick up.
