Would you buy the 5.4 again

I think alot of the 5.4 problems were in the first run of 3 valve motor. Ford made the design changes needed and not an issue anymore. Its alot like the lack of power in high rpms. Its a truck designed to pull, down low were a truck needs TQ the 5.4 is hard to beat.

I just turned 5K on my 06 Harley with a 5.4, last week added JBA headers & 3" ex. Just made it much better, gas millege inproved 3-4 MPG in town, 5-6 on the interstate @ 65. I LOVE it!

I love my 5.4. Hate the mileage, but for the difference in comparison with the 4.6, I figured it was worth it.
That HP and torque ain't too bad either when you stomp it.....
In closing, yes, I'd buy it again.

I got them thru www.performancecenter.com, about $565.00.
Tipacle install- about a day, right side a "female dog" left side much easyer. Exhast is a MagnaFlow 3" we made the dule exits on the right side just before the tire.
Real deeeep tone-LOVE-IT.

workin for parts!!!
i'm happy with my 5.4, could use a skosh more on top end but perfectly acceptable performance. no big problems yet,but i'll be replacing my thermostat soon.( running colder than normal,but still enough heat)
