Default Worth it ??? Tunes? With gear?

I HAVE A 08 F150 5.4 4X4 with stock tires, upgrading to 33's i pull a landscape trailer 3,500 lbs every week. gearing to 4.10 this fall and was wondering if a custom tune is worth it? what are the pros of gyrphon or how ever you spell it? any of the chips adjustable to reset the mph change from gears tires intake manualy? and also what gains have you seen from the computer i do not want to burn 93 octane dues to the fact i go through reg gas like crazy with my landscape company.

If I were you...I would just go with an Edge on level 2...and the answer to your adjustment questions are yes and yes. You can burn 87 or 89 oct. on level 2 and don't need a custom tune.

Yah and getting a custom tune from PHP could take some time. The canned edge tunes are great over stock.

you don't need a tuner for a gear swap...
