Default worth it?

well today i went to a local muffler shop to check out the price on some true dual set ups. i currently have a flowmaster muffler (single in, dual out), but was thinking about going to two flowmaster mufflers w/ H pipe goin straight out the back. would the power/torque gains be worth it? it will cost around $300

Not sure about the torque/power gains, but the cost would make it worth it IMO.

Well worth it. Considering the labor involved in bending and welding a custom system to your truck, that's a good price indeed. I always try to use a local shop for work like this.

You may find a system cheaper that you can buy online and install yourself (although I have not seen a good one for $300.00 or less), but I never liked the idea of clamps to connect two pieces of pipe; a weld is much better IMO.

They usually charge about 150 here for a single in dual out minus the tips. That's about what the average cost here in Ga. is.

Go for it...
