Wobble of the wheel

Did you get them changed out yet? If you didn't it's a pretty easy job. Jack it up and put a jack stand under it....safety first!!! Then pull the wheel off, and take the nut off of the tie rod end. Then use a hammer and smack around where the tie rod end is seated and it should pop right out. Unscrew it from the shaft, then put it all back together. What I thought was pretty cool was that there's a nut on the end of the shaft where the end screws into and all you have to do is screw the new end in until it hits the nut, snug it up and it's pretty much back in the correct spot.....no counting the number of turns or measuring where the old one was. Re-seat the tie rod end and torque the nut to 85 ft pounds. Put your wheel back on and I believe the lug nuts get torqued to 150 ft pounds. Do the other side and go get it aligned. You can buy the new ends with or without a zerk (grease) fitting. The one without it is cheaper, but don't fall for that. Get them with the zerk fitting and grease those babies and they'll last a looooong time. I like Moog front end components, always have, always will.

It'll go fine man....then you can enjoy a better ride with a tight front end. My truck's ride is so much better now.......before I changed mine whenever I hit a bump it felt like the wheel was being ripped from my hands. Now that's all completely gone and it's smooth and quiet again.

Mine does this. I got my wheels re-balanced and it was perfect for a few days and the wobble is back. I need to get it in for alignment one of these days....just have a thing about other people touching my truck.
