Default Wish me luck

Me and a buddy of mine (former mechanic in the army) are gonna tackle the dreaded spark plug and ignition coil change in my truck tomorrow. Other than everything I've read up on, does anybody have any tips to share that worked for them? Not really looking forward to it...

Your truck looks really good awesome color and I don't tend to like the two tone but yours looks really good. If you done lots of reading I'd imagine you know what you need to do, just take your time and expect breakage hope not though. Good luck let us know how it turns out.

I don't think seafoam is what you want to use, you should run a tank or 2 with techron not seafoam. I believe the consensus would agree.

Kingranch knows what hes talking about. Seafoam is no good for that, techron is the way to go. It definitely helps with the carbon buildup. I just had mine done last week and I ran techron before it, but I didn't do it myself I had a friend do it. He has his own shop and everything and only charged me $150 plus I bought the plugs a while ago intending on doing the job myself. But for $150 I gladly let him do it.

Oh me too. 2 broke on him, the back 2. And all where original except 2, one has a newer aftermarket cop and the other was the old style motorcraft. So something must have happened before the change. I got it 1 year ago with 100,000 on it and it was a one owner vehicle.
