Default wiring questions

I have been trying to finish my cup holder LED mod for a few months all the lights are in just not sure how to wire them I have a column shift so no power source in the cup holder area except the 12v port in the back of the console is my only option getting a switch would like them to come on with the headlights

Depends on how much work youre up for. You could run the wires under the console then behind the dash and tap into the power for the hl switch

Tie it into the illumination wire for your deck.

Good idea that wire should be hot even tho my stereo doesn't use it right?

Yes it is there in the harness. Use a test light to verify but it should be light blue with a red tracer on it.
