Default Wiring lights for boost gauge

I am wiring the lights in for my boost gauge on my truck and was just wondering if anyone could tell what a good wire to tap into is on the driviers side. I Want one that will dim with the dimmer switch not constant power.

is the guage one that dims? the only ones i've messed with have a positive then a dimmer wire that controls strictly the light.... but they're all different so it's hard to give advice without actually seeing the guage

The blue wire with a red stripe coming out of your dimmer switch will give you light when your other gauges are lit and will dim accordingly. You can also use the black wire thats in that plug to ground your light.
