I tried and tried and tried and I ended up running my constant to the radio fuse I believe. Then from the fuse box I ran the wire under that plastic ford molding at the edge of the floor mat by the door, through the hole, under the truck, and back to the light bar lol

run it to the battery, through the firewall under the steering wheel. there should be a gromet behind the pedals. once youve got it through there run it under the plastic rocker cover pieces to the back seat. behind the back seat there should be an opening that goes right to the bed. thatll be the best way.

Shouldn't be too hard to do. Buy some zip ties and find something underneath the truck that has is a non moving part to tie a wire to. One of those things you will just have to get under there and find the best path.

If he runs it to the battery it would just stay on all the time, no?

Tap into the trailer plug...it has a 12VDC for charging the RV batt while towing...and it is switched off when engine is off.

I didnt know there was that opening behind the seat that makes it easy. I already have my power wire for my hellas through my grommet by the pedals so i could easily run another.

I was looking into that but the recon instructions said go from the battery. I might aswell try the 7pin 12v first to save some time if it works thats an easy tap lol
