What do you guys think would be the best way to go about wiring these? I'm hooking them up to a two probe switch. They are only goin to work with the switch. Any ideas? Not to great with wiring... Easiest way you guys think!

For switched power maybe tap into the tow harness. Easy to get to and can run the wires up behind the taillights into the bed. There is also a hole that you could mount that switch already in the bed on the corners. I think the orange and white are the positive and negative wires you want but double check.

Yeah I wa looking at that just don't know what fuses I need to make the orange one always hot even without the key.... I got a waterproof switch that will fit into that hole with a little shaving..

You could run a wire up to the battery for constant power. I am sure you could take your time and do it safely with wire loom to protect it but I wouldn't feel confortable a hot wire running under the lenght of my truck. I realize you probably want to walk up to the truck and flip the lights on but is it that inconvient to walk to the front and put your key in (not trying to be a jerk). You could wire the switch from/to the dome light. So when you hit your remote you can then flip the switch on your bed lights. It would be a timer(dome lights say on a minute or two), but if you needed light on longer you could turn the dome light on.

I've thought about doing this too. I was just gonna tie into the 12v wire going to the 7-pin harness. Should be pretty easy. If what I've read/seen is correct then the black wire on the 7-pin is 12v and the white is ground.

Why not make it convenient if there is an easy way to? On the link that I posted earlier about this topic there is a way to make a jumper for the fuse under the hood or in the fuse box to make the orange wire hot all the time...
