Ok this is a rather simple question I need to hook a relay up to a power supply for a compressor unit being used for an air horn. I have a blue 18awg wire I need to hook up to a power supply that will click on when the key is turned in the ignition. Any ideas on what wire this is and where it’s located on my 2004 Ford f150 XLT so as not to make me go and test every wire?
Second, any good mounting locations for a 5L air tank system? I was thinking on the frame.

Red-Green wire in the ignition harness is switched on off with the key. Test it with a test light and confirm this before you splice it. I think the frame would be a great place for the tank if not the best place.
Ford has a TSB for splicing wire TSB # 05-18-7
