Default Prestige halos

I found a set of used prestige halos for $50 plus shipping. Shipping shouldn't be no more than $10. Three of the LEDs don't work on one ring but the rest of them are fine. I only want them for the purple and maybe the red anyways.

Any reasons why? Does that mean the rings are about to go out or something

I've had experience with their rings doing the exact thing as pictured in your original post. It happened with the red LEDs though.
So what's to say that it won't happen to even more of them? Plus, so far they have not stood behind their product. They asked for a picture of the problem so I sent them one. No response.

And if you have the red or blue go out on any other ring, you'll never have perfectly colored rings no matter what setting they are on (besides the single color that hadn't died...yet).

So are they known for going out? If I can get them cheap enough I'll try it for a while. This will be my first headlight build so I know it isn't gonna be perfect.

I stated my advice on them. It's ultimately your decision to make.

It's not a complete disaster that it happened, but I just hope they follow through and fix the problem. When I bought the halos, they had supposedly just released an "updated version."
