Not rear defrost, just a defrost button for the mirrors.

However I am uncertain about your era of truck. As noted, check the correct forum section as they will know better.

FWIW

Just put them on and see if it works. It is a real bear to try to instal unless you are very skilled with electronics. It is much more than simply adding a button and some wire.

Default 2008 heated mirror/ rear window defrost control


Here is what the heated mirror/rear window defrost control looks like. NOTE the defroster button on the right of the module and recirculate is on the middle button
