workin for parts!!!
GIVER!!! you should be ok. i had 2 tons on the back of my 89 f150 2x. ironically enough it was pellets too. had to drive only 6-7 miles on those trips. make sure your tires are aired up and watch your speed.

No doubt the truck will hold the weight, but you will likely be on or bouncing off the bump stops.
60 miles is a long way to go with that much weight. I personally wouldnt do it.

The truck should be more than capable of pulling it although you will no doubt bottom out the rear suspension. Breaking with that load will be the main concern. If you are going to drive on the freeway you will need to go slow and allow PLENTY of time to stop. The brakes are going to be the weak link. You are also going to need to think about the center of gravity shifting. Sharp turns are going to be out of the question and if you brake fast be prepared for those pellets to move. And cover that load (from experience).

You'll be ok. A few months ago we laid some concrete in our back yard and we picked it up in my truck. It was 1600 lbs to be exact and although the bed sagged a very little bit, it still had the capacity to carry more.

except the weight distribution of the truck will be way off and your front tires will be very light, careful with the turning, and as mentioned above the braking, you should be good
