the kit i have installed in my truck has hid low beams and halogen highbeams, 10k low beams. and ive thought about putting in 12k highbeams added with my 10k lows, would i pass inspection with high and low HID?

In Texas, sure. That states inspection is sort of a joke; at least it is in the Dallas area. I would pay the fee, and in less than 10 minutes, I had the new sticker placed on the windshield. I'm not sure they checked anything!

lol if your think its bad in dallas, go to pasadena in SE houston. they will do ANYTHING to pass you, even if you have no muffler no cats. shops down there dont care

I had 10K HIDs in my truck for a while and I passed inspection

i passed inspection twice with my old truck which had 8k lows

As long as they're aimed properly, I don't think they would care. But that is just my guess.
