I have what is believed to be cam phaser knock. My engine knock and ticks sounding just like a diesel. Its too the point its embarrasing. Only does it when the engine gets hot. Does anybody know if they will fix them under the powertrain warranty. It was certified truck.

They should but I was having the same issue it turned out not being cam phaser according to the dealer it was the fuel injectors which according to them is normal they did something with computer like some kind of update and that did seem to quite it down still there once in awhile though

Do a search on here.. Someone posted a link to a video of what a normal phaser sound and what a normal injector sound is. GREAT video.
