I didn't want to start a new thread so I'm gonna jack this one if its ok.
I just bought a factory bed extender from a guy who had it on a 2007. I have a 2006, however after I picked it up I noticed the middle hole in my rear posts where the pivot points screw into isn't threaded. It's just a hole like the other two. How do I go about mounting this thing now?
Thanks in advance.

You need to get the correct tap out and cut the threads into that hole. Match the mounting hardware thread pitch with the correct tap. Also the bed extenders from 04-08 and up will work on the 2015 and up models. I traded my 06 in on a 15 and kept my hardware. Installed with no issues and looks a heck of a lot better than the plastic ones they offer now.
