Will 295/70/18 fit my 06 f150 with a 2 1/2" leveling kit?
I'm planning on buying 295/70/18 nitto trail grapplers for my truck. I have a 2 1/2 inch leveling kit and I want to know if they will rub in the front or back of the tire or against the frame when fully turned.

here is a link to a tire size calculator http://www.therangerstation.com/tech...nch_Tires.html
it will take your size from metric units to inches. after that check online or on the box of your leveling kit for what size tires it can fit.

You should be OK. I have a friend at work that runs almost the same set up, same size/Nitto tires on 18" wheels, 2 inch leveling kit instead of a 2 1/2. he says he has no rubbing issues.
I have 285/65/R18 Nitto Trail Grapplers with 2 inch leveling kit. I have no rubbing issues so far. I have only had them on the truck for about two weeks though.
The most likely place for them to rub would be when backing up with the tires turned all the way one way or another, then they could hit the little black plastic trim piece that runs around the bottum of the bumper. If the tires hit there, it is an easy fix. just cut or (carefully) use a dremmel or similar tool to round off the corners of the trim piece.
Good luck and post up some pics when your done...

I really think it should, I put 325/65/18's on my 3" leveled truck. The shop I go through really knows their stuff and said I needed a 3" for anything over 305's. So given you should be good to go.
I also needed a 1/4 wheel spacer to clear the upper control arm. I also put on terra grapplers, but I doubt there will be much sidewall deviation. But 325 is a decently wide tire and you should have no need for a spacer.

Yah you will be fine but you need a couple of things.
-Min of a 2.5" leveling kit
-4WD (Can clear 35"s with leveling kit)
-Proper backspacing on aftermarket rims
With those three things in mind you will definitely be alright. Then you get to do the fun things like re-gearing and possibly trimming <-------(sarcasm)

Hey gentlemen. I have to say, that this forum is extremely informative. I have so many questions, but all it takes is a quick search and I find the answer I'm looking for. I too am going to be installing 295/70/18's This week and I was unsure as to whether I would be needing wheel spacers or new rims for offset. I will be installing on stock rims.
I will try to remember to take pictures, but I cannot make any promises as my excitement will normally cloud my thinking.
