My 04 inner bed panels are rusted out, and finding an 04-08 5.5ft bed is not easy... Also, all the inner bed panels from ford are discontinued for the 04-08 models. I was wondering if anyone knows if the bed panels or the whole bed from an 09-14 model would fit on the 04-08's...

Yes, the basic bed/body structure is much the same/identical between 04-14. You can bolt up the new bed but may run into some issues with the taillight wiring harness and fuel filler cup. Also the body lines will not match over the fender.

Thanks for the info. What about the inner bed body panels like the one i linked?
do you think they are close enough to the old style that a shop could weld them in?

it's gonna cost you more to have the inner pannel replaced then to buy a good used complete bed.

09-14 bed on a 04-08 have been done a couple of time.

It think the only difference is the tailgate shape(which fit anyways) and the fender shape (line over the wheel) that are different.
