i have 06 xlt screw, need new rear bumper, found a really nice condition one from an 04 or 05 (not sure exactly). From what I understand, the bracket is different on the 06 +. Will I be able to make the 04/05 one fit?

I thought 04-08 were interchangeable

I've read that while the bumpers themselves will line up, the brackets used changed between 2004/2005 and 2006 and up.

See if you can get the brackets to. I cant think the frame changed at all

has anyone here tried to make an 04/05 work on an 06+? it looks like it may fit but i can't completely tell by the parts diagram

I'm in Philly. There are tons of bumpers for sale on car-part.com but they are looking for 400 bucks for a nice one. The 04/05 one i'm looking at is in perfect condition and only 100 bucks
