I am a salesmen's nightmare "LOL"

I worked these guys between two dealerships for weeks. And when I was at one dealer getting a deal offered. I stepped out in the parking lot and called the other dealer just in case. He offered $2000 more off to get me to drive over. I left the first dealer. Bought for the price I said earlier at the second dealer.
Wow... that is good info. I'm going to do that next time. Sounds like the dealer you call will always do more to get you off someone elses lot. Did you tell the dealer you where at that the other offered 2k less? What did they do?

I have found out that you never deal with the first salesman you see. They usually onlylast about 10 minutes until they get their boss. Then you're finally starting to get somewhere.

Thanks for the tips Larry!

When I bought my 2008 the dealer gave me a great deal on my trade in. and they also gave me 13,000 off the new truck.

I drove in with a 6 year old 2wd xlt 80,000 miles, dented frt fender, dented cab, smashed rear bumper. No Money in hand.
I drove out with payments on 21,300

window sticker was 42,855

My Advice. Do what is right for you.
ur coming with me when i buy my next vehicle.

The sales manager said he can't go that low. He said that he did think they would either. I looked him in the eyes and said. I can't pass on 2000 dollars. If they are lying I will be right back today. He said he'd be here and good luck.
Three hours later I drove my new truck to the first dealer. I tod him it wasn't personal it was $$
The Same manger lost both 2008's he had first crack

Note:
I bought my 1985 F350 from the first dealer El Cajon Ford

I bought my .... Second Dealer Drew Ford

Default Dealers are scandalous...

Like Ricky and Rainman said Compare mileage, See how it runs maybe try and carfax both you might dig somethin dirty up(ive never used it just saw the commercials ) also i was thinkin there might be a buyer lined up willin to pay top dollar for your exact truck.. If you end up doing it defenitly get a warranty and they seem to really want the truck... Use this to your advantage Anyways let us know your decision
