Wierd noise in drive train
I heard a sound like a heat shield dragging underneath my 2004 f150 4x4 and decided to pull over and check it out....while slowing to a stop it made a clunk like sound....almost like something was engaging or disengaging.....any advise on this?

It sounds like it could be the IWE actuators trying to engage during normal operating speeds because of a vacuum leak somewhere, and when you slow down, it gives it enough time to engage. Ive seen this alot lately. And when you describe it like everyone else does,
You might want to start there.
