Default Why won't the paint stick to my running boards?

I've sprayed these damn things twice and after the first time they were real roughed up and the paint still comes off if I run my finger nail over it! What is the deal with these things?

if they are the plastic running boards you'll need to use an adhesion promoter before you paint. Think of it like a primer for plastics.

I would send them out and get them powder coated.

The paint is sticking, it is just brittle.
