just put in a k&n intake kit on my 07 crew cab and its a lot louder then i expected it to be. you can hear the air being sucked in like its a jet plane. and when i first crack the tb open it sounds like im opening a sealed jar of pickles. is this mornal for a 4.6L that has no mods other then the intake? i have a magnaflow catback on order, hopefully it will either drown it out or change it some how

yo.. its supposed to be louder.. cause you have an exposed filter at the end of the intake.. so the air gets sucked in by the big filter which causes that big sucking sound... My cousin had the same thing going on his import.. his AEM intake was damn loud.. so i guess its just normal..

alright, i guess i can live with it. just sounds weird. now im really hoping the magnaflow catback will be louder.....id rather hear that

My Magnaflow is LOUD!!!! PPl think I have straight pipes.. I don't like straight pipes.. This has a nice Burrble to it.
