Default Why does nobody make a 285/70r18

I have 275s right now and want to go up a size just a bit and the 285 is the choice but nobody makes it but Toyo and they are 360 bucks, If I got to the 295 I dont think they will fit with my 2" level. I think they will rub my mudflaps and fender flares

Check tirerack.com. They have a spot on there site to pick tire sizes and they have several in 285 size.

Yeah and BF Goodrich T/A KM2 comes in 285/70/18 but they are also the same price. No help there either.

Are you trying to go taller or wider or both?

If your pictures are correct in your album, you have 4x4 and you have a 2" level? You should be able to run 295/70/18 which is a 34.3x11.6 tire. You can get Nitto Trails in that size for $1200.
