Why does my truck shake bad after i go over small bumps?
Hello everyone. I was wondering if anyone could give me advice on why my 04 f150 would rattle or shake after I go over small bumps in the road. Dealership said all under truck is good but another person told me bad lower ball joints. I checked and they look good. So I've done all I can with making sure every thing is going smoothly but seems like I have no shock to take the impact over bumps.thank you. Any suggestions would help

I would have a competent shop look it over, both front and rear. You can expect there is a suspension or steering component(s) that that is worn and needs replacing. The lower ball joint is load bearing and would be low on my suspect list.

If it's washboard type bumps, my truck at 100km/h in dirt would hop sideways almost on small bumps.
I removed my front swaybar and end links, it rides straight and it's stable up and beyond 140 on dirt... I can let go of the wheel at 120 and she tracks straight even if one wheels hitting washboard potholes. It's a pretty radical change to handling with it removed, for example... highway the truck feels 'floaty' and it feels like it has a slight wobble to it. If you brake hard into a turn the front dips and you get a ton of body roll.
Worth a try if you want to pull it for a few days as a comparison. 4 bolts at the frame bushings, and the lower end link bolts.

Yep, sounds suspension related.
