I guess I'm just jealous. But my 325/60s look so damn nice, that i just don't even care to think about mileage.

I get at most 16.5 (average) at pretty much any speed. Leveled, 4x4 and 35s don't help. I find 20+ to be unbelievable though lol. Maybe running on flat land with a tailwind

Nothing shaped like a box can move 2.5 tons that efficiently be it a truck or anything else.

Haters are going to hate hahaha. Apparently I'm not the only one. I see a fee posts of people with similar result and who agree with the accuracy etc...etc.... And again guys these are averages!. Not instant economy. So it's not like it took a snapshot of my mpg going down hill with a tail wind being towed by another truck and being pushed by the Incredible Hulk lol. That type of situation would be reflected in the instant economy not in the average economy.

Again, not making it up and the edge data comes out matching what I have figured up on paper on more than one occasion.

Sorry guys if you can't believe it or chose not to believe it or if it makes you mad yours doesn't achieve the same results.....but it's the truth.

I DO eventually want to go to at the very least a 33" tire but I would prefer to go with a 35" so I'm not sure what kind of impact that will have on it.

I was happy to see this post. I too have am 05 Supercab and my edge shows 20+ on level 2 and 19+ on level 1. When I check it on paper it is 19+ and 20+. I've never said anything because i can't believe it either. BTW I have 176K on the truck and it drives like new. I've only had it for a couple of months but love my Tuxedo Black beauty!

I would really like to see how you guys hand calculate these numbers lol. Because I find it da*n near impossible for these certain magical trucks to get 7-8 mpg better than their identical twins. I'm not familiar with the edge level 2 that you guys speak of. But unless it adjusts the timing and all sorts of other things I highly doubt these numbers are accurate.. I run an evolution, and it has different tunes. Or else I'd try it myself. I'm not here to flame you guys, I just feel like these numbers are inaccurate. As far as I'm concerned fuel economy readouts on our tuners are useless.

Leveling kit and 35s cost me probably 1.5-2 mpg. 35s are hell for in town driving

Again, I am apparently not the only one getting better than average results. I know its hard for you to believe but like I said before....those are the numbers the programmer shows and those are same numbers calculated on paper using the typical method.

it is what it is....not sure what else to say about it other than....its possible...and true. I can't say for sure what exactly makes some trucks better in mpg than others...I cant say why exactly mine gets as good as it does....it just does I guess lol. Maybe some tolerances were slightly machined differently from the factory compared to the majority that ran down the line?, maybe every few thousand trucks there is an oddball one that was broken in differently than the rest?. Maybe it was the way it was cared for and maintained over the years?. Maybe I just don't drive like an *******? lol....could be a number of combinations I guess.

But it is what it is.....as ripleys would say......believe it or not hahaha
