Why did you switch wheel sizes?
Just curious...for those of you who changed from 18" to 20" wheels and visa versa, why did you make the change?
I suspect the rationale for those who went from 18 to 20 will be fairly consistent, however there may be more varied reasons for going the other direction. Let's see if that proves to be true.
Some before and after pics would be great if you got them! Thanks

not really answering your question but ill give my opnion anyways. i have 17s but even if i had the money i wouldnt bump up my wheel size. I personally like the look of alot more tire to rim but im a country boy so what do i know. but i have 34s on 17s and they look perfect to me. thats my 2 cents

I drove 2011 fx4s back to back. the one with 18 s. was a softer/smoother ride. I bought the one with 20's & made sure the aligned & balanced. ( not really answering your question directly either)

Nuthin' up my sleeves...
I have a 2010 Dark Blue Pearl Lariat SCREW.
I have never been a fan of 20s and wasn't thrilled that I had little choice (as I don't have the patience to wait for an order to come in). I took the stock 20s with the Pirelli "tires".
I like RWL tires and I like to see some sidewall, so 18s were a better choice for me. When I reached 15k miles, I wanted to dump the Pirellis in favor of Bridgestone Duelers... I bought new 18s and got the tires I wanted! Now the only regret I had about this truck is gone!!!
